Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in. This will allow time to change, set aside belongings, turn off cellphones, find space in the studio and allow you to unwind before your practice.
Avoid strong smelling perfumes or lotions.
Come to class well hydrated (and hydrate throughout the practice). One of the many benefits of yoga is the flushing out of toxins, and water helps this process.
Avoid practicing on a full stomach.
Silence during the practice is always appreciated.
Remove your shoes before entering the studio.
Wear comfortable clothes. Layers are best as your body temperature may change throughout the practice.
If you are late please wait for the teacher to acknowledge you and find the best space for you.
Listen to your body and take care of yourself during class.
If you must leave early (we prefer that you do not) please practice in the rear of the studio so as not to disturb others during your departure.
Inform the teacher of any medical condition, injuries or concerns before class.
Mats are available for rent. However, we recommend that you bring your own mat and towel. If you do rent a mat please make sure to spray the mat, wipe it clean and leave it to dry after your practice.
Be considerate of your neighbors' space when you set up your mat.
Only you know your body. Take rest when necessary and do not go beyond your edge.
